This time of year, I could live on tomato sandwiches. But it hard to make a sandwich out of cherry tomatoes, and I have loads of cherry tomatoes. I don know what it is, but I can resist buying them when I see them at the farmer market. Randall Roberts of Los Angeles Times gave it 3.5 out of 4 stars: “‘Yeezus’ is the most musically adventurous album West has ever released, a wildly experimental work that features tracks produced by Daft Punk, Hudson Mohawke, Rick Rubin and others. It’s also West’s most narcissistic, defiant, abrasive and unforgiving. Musically, this exploration is fascinating.
As you get older, your body changes how it gains and loses weight. Both men and women experience a declining metabolic rate, or the number of calories the body needs to function normally. On top of that, women have to deal with menopause. (Why three months? Because glucose attaches to a protein called hemoglobin in red blood cells, and those cells get recycled and replenished about every three months.)A normal A1C is below 5.7%. A higher percentage reflects higher blood glucose levels. My recollection of seeing the film in 1964 (through some kind of mix up it was sent to the Homer Family Theater instead of the announced Jerry Lewis comedy and there were maybe 12 people in the place) is that it made me laugh, but worry at the same time. Today the jokes remain hilarious, but I still worry when I think of that film.
